The vintage 2008 Veuve Clicquot highlights the characteristics of a single year. A year in which the weather allowed the grapes to ripen optimally. The pinot noirs were harvested and fruity, fleshy, while the Chardonnay showed great distinction and a nice pinot meunier indulgence.
The Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2008 is adorned with a beautiful gold dress with a bright, shiny while its fine bubbles rise with lightness.
At first, we find aromas of crisp fresh fruit (peach), citrus and a touch of mineral inherited from calcareous soils.
The second nose are notes of violet and lilac born accompanied by gourmet flavors of hazelnut and quince.
On the palate, an attack a sharp attack followed by freshness is discovered. The 2008 vintage is rich, generous, taut and dynamic.
