Designed by English artist Ross Lovegrove, this new bottle is embedded in the thickness of its iconic headband allowing a better service and revealing an innovative and refined style. It is precisely for the 140th anniversary of the house G.H. Mumm and its famous red cordon honoring its illustrious customers, that leaves in 2016 this new cuvée, the Grand Cordon.
In addition to its aesthetic appearance, this new bottle allows flavors to flourish and to increase the shelf life thanks to its narrower and more elongated collar. Produced from the finest vintages, the Pinots Noirs, which make up the majority of this cuvée, are assembled with the freshness and finesse of the Chardonnays and the Pinot Meuniers fruit.
Grand Cordon reveals fragrances of fruits with white flesh in the nose as well as notes of lychees and pineapples. It then evolves into honeyed notes and dried fruits. On the palate, we find this aromatic intensity and we note the perfectly balanced structure of this beautiful lively and complex cuvee with round and sapid finish.
